Pada majlis pelancaran Showcase teknologi generasi kelima di Putrajaya hari ini, Perdana Menteri dibawa menaiki sebuah Proton Exora biru tanpa pemandu sejauh 500 meter di laluan berhadapan Istana Kehakiman sehingga ke Kompleks Perbadanan Putrajaya di sini.
Ketika sesi percubaan itu, seorang pemandu keselamatan berada ditempat duduk pemandu dan memberi penerangan kepada Dr Mahathir mengenai teknologi berkenaan tanpa memegang stereng. Kemudian ketika majlis pelancaran, Perdana Menteri berkesempatan mengadakan perbualan dengan seorang kanak-kanak perempuan bernama Aisyah secara hologram.
