Aktivis sosial, Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye berkata, antara pihak yang perlu dilibatkan dalam jawatankuasa tersebut ialah ahli Persatuan Pekerja Bersara MAS terutamanya penaungnya, Tan Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman yang merupakan seorang tokoh dihormati dan terlibat secara langsung dalam penubuhan MAS.
“Pada masa yang sama, kita juga mempunyai ramai pakar ekonomi dan ahli perniagaan yang terkenal di dalam dan luar negara sehinggakan banyak institusi antarabangsa turut meminta nasihat dan ingin mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan daripada mereka,” katanya dalam kenyataan di sini hari ini. Beliau juga berkata, beliau maklum dengan cadangan daripada MASRA untuk membantu menyelamatkan MAS dengan bekerjasama dengan pihak swasta, namun kata beliau, strategi itu tidak menguntungkan.

To save MAS, be hard on everyone. From the level of Chairman, directors, finance and purchasing department, division heads, down to the bottom line, even to the hangars. Make sure everyone is accountable for what the are doing. Everyone must be responsible.
