Trio nabbed for trafficking ecstasy via WeChat

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon said police got their break after detaining a 31-year-old man at a condominium in Taman Shamelin Perkasa at 10.50am.

He said after questioning, the suspect led the police team to a condominium in Kajang at 1.50pm, where his 27-year-old girlfriend and a Thai woman were arrested. "From these two raids, we seized 6.7kg of powdery substance believed to be ecstasy, 1,802 ecstasy pills, 270kg of ecstasy in liquid-form and 80 sticks of ganja-laced cigarettes. The drugs are worth RM788,700 in the black market."

“Also seized were a Proton Persona car, RM26,300 in cash and foreign currencies worth RM4,181." he said."They even provide delivery services for customers in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru and Penang." he said.
