Tourists travelling to Langkawi under the travel bubble initiative are mandated to get themselves tested for Covid-19 within 48 hours of their arrival.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the decision was made to ensure that tourists who arrive at the tax-free island are not coronavirus positive besides having been fully vaccinated.
