Trade body says no Malaysian palm oil held up in India ports

Reports have suggested that the Indian government is upset with Malaysia over its stance on Kashmir, and subsequently restricted palm oil imports from the country in protest. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 20, 2020.

THE Solvent Extractors’ Association of India said it has not received any reports of refined palm oil cargoes from Malaysia being held up at India’s ports due to Customs clearance.Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
