Based on a 2023 GR Corolla Circuit Edition, the Toyota Motorsports Garage team looked towards the GR Yaris Rally1 for inspiration, applying many of the WRC race car’s technologies and characteristics to the concept. Elsewhere, there’s a carbon composite front splitter with a 4.5-inch overall length, a bespoke carbon-fibre rear wing, the latter contributing more downforce and has end plates aligned with the vehicle’s roofline.
Driving-related features include 17-inch OZ Racing wheels with 215/60 Continental VikingContact 7 tyres, which are accompanied by TEIN Gravel Rally coilovers. The standard car’s braking system is retained, but the team added Wilwood turning brakes – a secondary set of rear calipers – to help provide the braking and turning control needed for gravel rally terrain.
