Touch ’n Go to launch new card with NFC capability

Touch ’n Go will soon launch an updated version of its card that will enable balance top-ups using a NFC-enabled port via the TnG eWallet application. – Touch ’n Go pic, January 25, 2022.

TOUCH ’n Go will be launching a new version of its card with capability of tapping into a Near Field Communication technology in the next few weeks. TNG Digital Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Ignatius Ong said the new card will allow users to easily top up their balance using a NFC-enabled port via the TnG eWallet application.

does that mean i just pair it with my nfc capable phone and i just use phone as tng?

🤦‍♀️ Did TouchnGo hire people who are still concerned with hardware (must be ex-Astro staff who love set top boxes) and want to sell that instead of say, using TouchnGo eWallet QR code?
