The DAP top leadership is meeting to discuss the party’s position in the wake of a possible break-up of the Pakatan Harapan government.
This follows the flurry of activities last night on the possible formation of a new ruling coalition comprising PPBM, Umno, PAS and several PKR MPs aligned to deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali, which may leave DAP sidelined. Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow and party chairman Tan Kok Wai also arrived for the closed door meeting.It was learnt that the meeting will start after the arrival of secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, who is said to be waiting with PKR president Anwar Ibrahim to meet Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad at his residence in Seri Kembangan.
