Sometimes, speaking out is better than keeping mum. After ignoring rumours of an alleged affair and even an illegitimate child, Hong Kong actor Tony Leung

Last week, various Chinese media speculated the actor had an extramarital affair with Chinese singer Cheng Xiao after photos of them shopping together surfaced. Some reports even added that Tony had fathered an illegitimate child with the singer and had purchased a house in Japan for her.A week after the rumours surfaced, the 61-year-old finally broke his silence, taking to Weibo to issue a statement.

Cheng Xiao had previously addressed the allegations via her agency and denied everything, even calling it baseless and ridiculous.
