TOKYO: Tokyo is the"most prepared" and the"most eager" Olympic host city just over six months before the Games but can't let up in the final countdown, International Olympic Committee coordination committee chairman John Coates said on Friday .
But he said that organizers must make sure that issues such as transportation remain critical factors and would need the full attention of local organisers:"You can't be complacent." Organising committee CEO Toshiro Muto said that transportation times have been passed on to the Olympic stakeholders and that the last new venue, the aquatics centre, would open next months.
