SINGAPORE: Malaysia’s Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan is in Singapore to attend the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue, which kicked off on Friday (June 2).

In a statement on Friday, the republic's Ministry of Defence said Mohamad called on his Singapore counterpart Dr Ng Eng Hen in the afternoon at the Shangri-La Hotel.

"They explored ways to further strengthen cooperation to tackle common security challenges in the region," the statement read. "Singapore and Malaysia’s defence establishments interact regularly across a wide range of activities, such as visits and exchanges, bilateral exercises, and cross-attendance of courses," said the ministry.
