In a statement on Wednesday , Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail said a 31-year-old complainant called the authorities after spotting several people pulling out copper wires along Jalan AU4 in Ampang.
Thirteen minutes after the call was made at around midnight, a police team arrived at the scene and arrested the suspects. "Three were locals and three others were foreigners, all aged between 18 and 32," ACP Mohd Azam said, adding that some were found to be TM contractors.
