Telekom Malaysia has appointed Jasmine Lee from U Mobile to lead their mobile business. Unifi Mobile plans have not been updated in a long time and it needs a major refresh ahead of 5G availability.

Jasmine has served as the CMO at U Mobile for 8 years and was instrumental in rolling out affordable unlimited plans that disrupt the telco industry. Before she left U Mobile, she was appointed as the telco’s first Chief Digital Officer in November last year. Under the CDO role, she was focused on building and exploring new opportunities in the digital space and creating new digital experiences and data-driven solutions to benefit consumers.

Prior to joining U Mobile, Jasmine had served as the Head of Commercial and Commercial Director at AirAsia. She was also the CEO of MNC Wireless for over 7 years.Unifi Mobile is seen as the underdog telco which was
