NSTnation Stop blaming the tabligh participants, following the surge of Covid-19 cases in the country. Covid19 Tabligh DrNoorHisham

Speaking at a press conference on Covid-19 today, he said what was needed now was to trace and treat Covid-19 infections among these tabligh participants, their families and contacts.“What is crucial now is for us to help them,” he said.

He said from total positive cases of Covid-19 in the country, 60 per cent were from the tabligh cluster. Yesterday, Dr Noor Hisham said the Health Ministry would work with the police to track down all the attendees of the tabligh event that was held from Feb 27 to March 1 at the Sri Petaling mosque.Meanwhile, Noor Hisham said all tabligh participants, with and without symptoms, should come forward to their respective district health centre starting tomorrow for screening.

He said the ministry has agreed yesterday that tests would be carried out on them, even if they did not show any symptoms.

IF the participants are not responsible for spreading the virus THEN we need to find how COVID-19 is spreading in Malaysia. Right?

Blame the KL government of course.

MelGohCNA

Not blaming them. But the gathering is what people r pointing to. Yes their organising committee did not acknowledge the mistake of holding this and r not helping to arrest the situation. People were outraged because this virus will kill their members n outsiders r more worried

Kita tak salahkan tabligh kt Sri Petaling tapi kita salahkan mereka yang masih enggan tampil diri untuk diperiksa dan menjadi risiko jangkitan kepada kesihatan keluarga mereka dan orang awam.

Too late the damage is done..

if you dont really know the situation for tabligh, dont simply generalized and blame them. Tabligh bukan persatuan. Sapa2 boleh join. Mana yg dah mmg ikut, semua pergi test. A few yg xpegi. Remember, the new cases now 70% bukan tabligh.

😂😂😂😂😂😂. Have more gatherings then.

Everybody took their eye of the ball. Politicians busy fighting for power. And media’s main focus were on the politicians. No ban on mass gathering and insufficient border controls back then. PH ministers were overconfident and ignorant. Can’t pin all the blame on tabliqh.

Nobody s blaming them, but their ignorance, non transparency, acknowledging the fact that they may be the virus carriers. Roaming around with the virus & infecting non deserving ones. Now foreigners can test for free! Govt s asking us to donate.

Nomatter what, i just want to say Dr Noor Hisyam is so good. He the only one I can trust now 🙌

I'm sure those who have not come forward are those who came in to our country either illegally or with expired travel documents. Migrant/foreign workers will be our nxt wave

Don’t blame them la. They were praying. And kena virus. And then spreading it to some people la. Could be anybody and they should had cancelled the gathering. Ok la lesson learnt.

Stiffneck attitude similar to US president, can done more than what shdn't has 👉👉🏿govt at the beginning shd allow all inclusive of illegal immigrant to hv a check without harassing them. 🙏🙁Penny wise pound foolish ~seem like Triumph said why China won't inform US early.

I don't think people blame them for attending the event. People are annoyed because some of them still refuse to come forward for screening. Sarawak attendees has ALL came forward and screened. We applaud them for being responsible citizens.

No need to blame anyone. Malays are our friends. I have plenty of Malay and Chinese friends who are like my brothers. No one voluntarily goes to get disease. Hopefully all of them will come forward for check up and medication. It’s us against the virus and not against ourselves.

Blame the participants and their teachings. How can one say it's individual attitude when many of them behave the same. They are responsible for the second wave. Even the name 'tabligh' means spread in Arabic

Nobody blame them for attending. It is the refusal to come forward for testing that is the problem.

No need sarcasm datuk...bantai ja geng tablik yang taknak datang tu...bodoh punya tablik...say no to tablik

Too late. Their stubbornness is the main cause of the second wave. Authorities need to HUNT and BEG them in fear that they will infect others. Still they are in denial. Not all tablighs but those stubborn ones are the reason why we have spike in numbers! COVIDIDIOTS

You can help those who help themselves in the first place. These tabligh idiots have yet to apologize for their stupidity. 🙄
