Tidak patut tolak usul bincang banjir Baling - Pembangkang

Timbalan Pengerusi Parti Amanah Negara Kedah, Datuk Dr. Ismail Salleh berkata, usul tersebut tidak sepatutnya ditolak ketika ia dikemukakan pada awal sidang Dewan Undangan Negeri Kedah.

Usul pertama dibawakan oleh Ismail yang mengemukakan usul tergempar isu banjir dan kepala air dengan merujuk kepada peruntukan Peraturan Mesyuarat Perkara 27, , dan . “Kalau perlu disegerakan lagi dan dibawa Menteri Besar sendiri, itu boleh dalam tempoh satu hari. Ringkasnya usul ini ditolak kerana tidak mengikut peraturan masa 14 hari itu,” katanya.

“Saya faham mesej nak disampaikan Pengkalan Kundor dan Derga. Kita akan pergi untuk selesaikan masalah itu tetapi disebabkan masa tidak sesuai, maka saya buat keputusan tolak usul tersebut. Tetapi kita akan bawa benda ini ke persidangan pada masa depan, siap dengan laporan serta cadangan yang akan membuatkan keadaan menjadi lebih teratur,” katanya.
