PUTRAJAYA: Perlembagaan PPBM tidak memberikan kuasa mutlak kepada mana-mana pihak untuk memecat atau menggugurkan keahlian, kata Ahli Parlimen Muar, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, yang keahliannya “terhenti” kerana menyertai blok pembangkang.
Oleh itu, pemakluman mengenai pengguguran keahlian beliau dan 4 pemimpin lain adalah “tidak adil” dan “tidak bersandarkan fakta yang betul”. Syed Saddiq bersama 4 pemimpin terbabit mendakwa ia bertentangan dengan undang-undang parti dan parti secara tidak langsung menafikan hak mereka untuk membela diri dan memberi penjelasan.
Turut bersama sidang media hari ini adalah Ketua Penerangan Pemuda PPBM, Ulya Aqamah Husamudin yang menyeru mesyuarat agung khas diadakan secepat mungkin bagi menyelesaikan kemelut parti.
