HULU TERENGGANU: Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Terengganu menafikan adanya kes baharu leptospirosis atau kencing tikus berkaitan aktiviti riadah di Sungai Menerong, Kampung Menerong di sini seperti yang tular dalam media sosial.
“Keputusan sampel tanah dan air sungai diambil pada 21 April juga menunjukkan posited kepada Leptospira. “Selepas tarikh tersebut, tiada kes baharu kencing tikus berkaitan dengan aktiviti riadah di sungai berkenaan,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan di sini, hari ini. Beliau berkata demikian sebagai maklum balas berhubung dakwaan yang tular dalam media sosial mengenai air dan tanah di Sungai Menerong dicemari bakteria leptospira.
Tambah beliau, orang ramai dinasihatkan agar dapatkan maklumat yang betul dan tepat daripada pihak kesihatan atau agensi terlibat sebelum menularkan berita palsu. –UTUSAN
