Katanya, perkara itu disahkan Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan Hamdan Hussin semasa ditanya pada petang semalam, walaupun mengesahkan MPK menerima permohonan daripada penganjur. Mohamad Noor berkata, keperluan mendapatkan kelulusan pemilik premis diterangkan pada pertemuan selama sejam dengan 5 wakil SMSL, termasuk Pegerusinya Tan Bun Teet pada 7 Ogos lalu di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kuantan.
Selain sepanduk, mereka juga membawa poster gambar pemimpin negara yang didakwa gagal menunaikan janji untuk menutup Lynas pada manifesto pilihan raya umum lalu, selain turut melibatkan aktiviti “flash mob”.
