KOTA TINGGI: Three women, aged 23 to 41, drowned at Pantai Batu Layar, Desaru, here.

Penawar Fire and Rescue Department station chief Mohd Fadli Ismail said that the incident occurred around 5.35pm on Sunday .

“The victims are identified as Asiah Abdul Rahman, 41, Siti Hajjar Adila Mohd Rohim, 25, and Ummu Sulaiin Mohd Rohim, 23. “The victims were pronounced dead by the medical team that had arrived at the location,” he said in a statement.Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Ahsmon Bajah confirmed the incident.This story is exclusively For StarBiz Premium subscribers only.
