BY SOO WERN JUN

The three — Jalan Raja Bot in Kampung Baru, and neighbouring residential areas Taman Wilayah and Taman Desa Bakti in Selayang — are located in the vicinity of areas classified as red zones due to their number of Covid-19 cases. A Federal Territories Ministry source has since confirmed that the three areas were placed under lockdown late last night. These three areas make up the eighth, ninth and 10th EMCO areas following the Covid-19 positive cases detected in the Jalan Raja Bot market and Selayang wholesale market.
