He was appointed as the deputy rural and regional development minister under the former Barisan Nasional government when he won the 2004 general election.
In 2013, he was dropped as a Barisan candidate, and he contested the Mas Gading seat as an Independent candidate but lost. He will be locked in a four-cornered battle with Parti Bumi Kenyalang’s Paul Shanon Kenbell Barin, DAP’s Granda Aing and Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s Datuk Henry Harry Jinep, who is the Tasik Biru incumbent since the 2016 state polls.Meanwhile, Entulu’s foray into politics began when he was elected as the Selangau MP under Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak in 2004, where shortly after, he was appointed as deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Department under the former Barisan administration.
However, in the 2018 general election, PRS dropped him in favour of a new candidate, and the Selangau seat was then won by Baru Bian who later left PKR to join PSB.
