In a statement on Saturday , Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said that the third person was caught following the arrest of two suspects on Aug 9.“The 36 year old suspect works at a used goods shop in Damansara, and he confessed to have bought stolen items from one of the previously arrested suspect. Items such as sunglasses, four bags and three receivers were seized by the police for our investigations,” he said.
Valuables like silverware, brass lamps, watches and other items worth more than RM100,000 were lost during the multiple break-ins at his home. In a follow up to that interview, Petaling Jaya deputy police chief Supt Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood told The Star that two suspects linked to the robberies had been arrested.
