PETALING JAYA: Beregu badminton wanita negara, Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah menghadiahkan pingat emas ketujuh Malaysia dalam Sukan Komanwel 2022 di Birmingham selepas menang mudah 21-5, 21-8 ke atas pasangan tuan rumah, Lauren Smith-Chloe Birch, sebentar tadi.
Sukan Komanwel sejak Vivian Hoo-Woon Khe Wei menang di Glasgow 2014, sebelum Vivian-Chow Mei Kuan mempertahankan gelaran di Gold Coast, empat tahun lalu. Ini juga pingat emas beregu wanita kelima Malaysia dalam sejarah Komanwel sejak gandingan Ang Li Peng-Lim Pek Siah menang pada 2002, diikuti Wong Pei Tty-Chin Eei Hui pada 2006.
