PARIS, Jan 12 — In contrast to the bold aesthetic — bursting with colours and patterns — that arose during the pandemic, another style that could transform your wardrobe is emerging this year.

This could be set to change in 2022, as evidenced by the infatuation of people around the world with some of the elements that go hand in hand with this dark yet electrifying aesthetic. This was a trend observed by the fashion search engine Stylight, which, at the time, reported a significant increase in clicks for each of these three categories in the space of a few weeks.

From the little black dress — seen on the hottest red carpets — to dark corsets inspired by the hit show,, through choker necklaces, and a craze for black wedding dresses, this colour — which isn’t a colour — is once again riding high as a go-to shade.
