In practice the event required, earning one from generic activities and converting it into another by completing a limited-time Solstice mission where you fight Taken and build a bonfire.
The ticket was also full of mind-numbing challenges like completing 25 PvP matches or running over a dozen public events on the Throne World. Every year since Solstice began I’ve tried and failed to complete it. This one was no different. I finished a few pieces of gear and got within striking distance of the whole thing, and then looked at the 50 players I still needed to kill in Crucible and remembered I could be playinginstead.
The great thing about burnout season is that it never lasts too long. A new season starts later this month, and Bungie is set to potentially reveal its next expansion,
Its real every month, its nothing new, you take a break for few weeks/months and come back - done. Nothing has changed in the D2 formula for years now, so its as real as it was yesterday, as it was year ago.

I mean it’s been the same game basically for 4-5 years. What did you expect? They take shit away then give it back with a different color on it
How do people still not understand how to play games healthily? You play for weeks on end and burn yourself out, thats when you should take a break for a few weeks and come back later. Destiny is built with this in mind, you can play week by week or come back and grind whenever.
Destiny 2 looks and feels like a game from 2017. We need a destiny 3 instead of this live service nonsense (skinnerbox)
not really. Its only in these small windows late in a season when your max light and the story is paused where you start to feel any ''burnout'' but at the same time totally fine with it as it lets us take a small break to play other things and just pop back every once in a while
I don't understand why people play terrible games. Destiny has never been good. PvP is an unbalanced mess. Why not play... literally any other shooter? Hell why not Planetside 2 if you want bigass armies fighting each other.
