PETALING JAYA: An association representing thousands of oil palm smallholders has voiced confidence that the price of palm oil will continue to rise even as it hits RM2,600 per tonne.
He said smallholders were naturally happy with the development. “There’s a big difference in their income from what it was at the start of the year.” At home, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he hoped all parties would be prepared to accept the use of B20 biodiesel fuel by next year.
