Every Malaysian has a favourite story about how a good day was ruined thanks to an inconsiderate or dangerous driver.
You drive round and round for about ten minutes or so and then suddenly, you spot a much coveted parking bay and you flip on your turn signal. It is swerving from left to right on your lane and is crawling at a speed of 20km/h when the speed limit is 90km/h.Sure enough, as you overtake, you find the driver texting happily on their phone without a care in the world.
But horror of horrors, when you reach your car, you find that there’s another vehicle right behind it, blocking your exit.Your honks go unanswered and if you’re unlucky, the offending driver didn’t even bother to leave a note with a phone number to call. This is when the nightmare begins as they tailgate you, blare their horn at you, flash their lights and make all sorts of hand gestures.
There are two types of people who fall in this category: Those who use their turn signals wrongly and those who don’t use them at all.
Malaysian have no courtesy when driving. My pet hates are people that queue over intersections causing a jam when the traffic lights change, people who can't anticipate their turn/exit, illegal parking, and people changing lanes during a jam. Learn the road rules!
You’re forgetting one but most important of all: The queue jumper. Or in malaysian slang, we call them Babi Kota
Malaysian got money so they mad about to have cars , never bothered about nature n climate changes .
Corksuckers and Muthafockers in tinted cars tends to drive like their sugar-daddies or sugar-mommies own the roads. That’s my experience. And why I strongly opposed the new rules on tinted glass.
The worst was when an ambulance has to make way to the minister's convoy.
Can we do an on line petition to get the pdrm, jpj & dbkl to 1)get their acts together 2)actually work. I suspect they push the responsibility of enforcement to each other &they seem to work only 9am - 5pm when it comes to traffic offenses. They shld stop the tidak apa attitude.
