Thailand dijangka untung RM18.8 bilion selepas kecualikan visa untuk pelancong China

BANGKOK: Thailand menjangkakan untuk menarik kira-kira 2.9 juta pelancong dari China yang mampu menyumbang sehingga 140.3 bilion baht susulan pelaksanaan pengecualian visa selama lima bulan.

Beliau berkata, selepas dua hari pelaksanaan pengecualian visa itu lebih 22,000 pelancong China dilaporkan memasuki Thailand. Perdana Menteri, Srettha Thavisin, yang mengambilalih pentadbiran sejak bulan lalu menguatkuasakan pengecualian visa untuk pelancong China dan Kazakhstan sebagai sebahagian daripada langkah pemulihan ekonomi negara itu.

Katanya, Pihak Berkuasa Pelancongan Thailand menjangkakan ketibaan warga China sekitar 4 hingga 4.4 juta tahun ini.
