Being a Tesla owner doesn’t just mean owning an electric, self-driving car. It also means you have a sentry to watch out for your belongings!According to a report by Sin Chew Daily, a Tesla owner used his vehicle’s Sentry Mode to identify an elderly man who had stolen his sneakers, which costs a whopping RM600.It all started when the Tesla owner had finished his 2-hour morning run and decided to sun-dry his sweat-soaked shoes while waiting for his son to finish his badminton game.

He then promptly checked the camera footage from his Tesla, which was on Sentry Mode while parked, and saw an elderly man taking his shoes. “After I got out of the car, I walked to his car and confronted the uncle. At first, he kept denying it, and in turn questioned whether I was really the owner of the shoes,” the Tesla owner shared.Wanting to put an end to the nonsense, he then pulled out his phone and showed the elderly man the camera footage and the elderly man went into a fit of rage.
