PETALING JAYA: Ten Pakatan Harapan leaders have been called in by the police on Monday (July 4) to help investigations into a price hike protest held in Kampung Baru on Friday (July 1).

Fadhli Umar Aminolhuda, a lawyer with Parti Amanah Negara's legal bureau, said it is understood the matter was being investigated under Section 9 of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012.

"Lawyers from Amanah's legal bureau will accompany the Pakatan leaders to the Dang Wangi district police headquarters at 10am on Monday," he was quoted as saying by Malay news portal, Sinar Harian.
