KOTA KINABALU: A teen hiker was carried down on a stretcher by firefighters after he fell and injured himself while hiking up a hill in Sepanggar on Friday (May 2).

The Fire and Rescue Department received the alert at 4.

36pm about the 14-year-old boy sustaining injuries on his hands and legs after taking a tumble when hiking Bukit Janggut there.“Preliminary treatment was given by the rescuers before they carried him down via stretcher.“The operation ended at 6.18pm,” said the department spokesman.
