Run by Shirba Auto World Sdn Bhd, the sales, service and spare parts centre was officiated by Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia, Datuk Darell Leiking.
The newly launched PROTON 3S Centre is equipped with 12 service bays and 1 adas bay. Operation hour is between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm daily and cstomers with young children are welcome to use its kids corner and customer lounge which offers light refreshments. “We are truly honoured and grateful to Proton Edar Sdn Bhd for entrusting us to carry out the responsibility in implementing and managing this 3S centre. We believe that with this effort, we are able to reduce the unemployment issue around this area and also contribute towards stimulating the local and national economy while providing healthy competition in the local car industry,” said Rizwan Lassim, chief executive officer Shirba Auto World Sdn Bhd.
With the opening of the Tebobon centre, Proton now has four service centres in the state, including a 4S centre in Kota Kinabalu. The two other 3S centres are located in Lahad Datu and Sandakan. Altogether Proton has more than 60 3S centres and 40 4S centres in Malaysia. Shirba Auto World aims to sell 840 units by the end of next year. The company hopes to consistently provide quality service and continue to grow as dealer of Proton vehicles.
