PETALING JAYA: Two more people have been added to the task force probing the disappearances of Pastor Raymond Koh and activist Amri Che Mat following calls for a more balanced and impartial panel.

The two new members are Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commis-sion assistant commissioner Azian Umar and senior lawyer Datuk Roger Tan. With the additions, there are now seven members in the task force, including the chairman, former High Court judge Datuk Abd Rahim Uda.

The presence of Zamri, said the ministry, would help the task force as the department had the legal power to summon police officers to give their statements. Tan, a Bar Council member who has been in active legal practice for the past 30 years, was a commissioner with the National Water Services Commission from 2009 to 2017.
