State minister Dr Sim Kui Hian says anyone entering Sarawak has to wear the wristband for 14 days to enable authorities to monitor their movements. FMTNews Covid19 QRWristband Sarawak

Sarawak is gazetting into law the QR wristband to monitor the movements of those entering the state.

“With this ruling being gazetted, those found tampering with their wristbands will be considered as breaking the law,” he said at a press conference here today. “In Sabah, it was reported that among the 10 people who tested positive for Covid-19 were returning students and individuals who had flouted the home quarantine rules.
