kualalumpur Tiada etnik Rohingya dari Kedah dikesan positif Covid-19 walaupun 200 daripada mereka dipercayai menghadiri perhimpunan tabligh di Masjid Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, 28 Februari lalu.

Presiden Persatuan Rohingya Kedah/Perlis, Yussof Ali berkata, kesemua etnik Rohingya yang menyertai perhimpunan itu melepasi ujian saringan dilakukan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia .

Menurutnya, pihaknya juga memberi penjelasan kepada mereka berkaitan simptom dan langkah yang perlu diambil berikutan penularan wabak berkenaan. “Kami turut bekerjasama dengan Pertubuhan Hak Asasi Manusia Etnik Rohingya Myanmar Malaysia dan akan mengambil tindakan sekiranya ada yang cuba melarikan diri untuk menjalani pemeriksaan.

“Mengikut senarai kita, terdapat enam hingga tujuh orang yang pergi ke sana dan mereka sudah melakukan saringan di hospital.Katanya, sekiranya ada etnik Rohingya yang mengetahui di kalangan mereka masih belum menjalani saringan diminta menghubungi talian MERHROM untuk membantu kerajaan Malaysia mengekang penularan Covid-19.
