The Muar MP said that he had just returned from an Asean youth leaders summit in Jakarta before arriving at SK Taman Sutera here to cast his vote with his family.
"I hope that with two to three hours remaining, voters in the Pulai parliamentary constituency will come out and pick an elected representative that would voice out the rakyat’s issues in Parliament," he added.He was asked to comment on the lower voter turnout on polling day in the Pulai parliamentary by-election.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission said that the number of people who had voted as of 3pm Saturday was 38% for Pulai and 51% for the Simpang Jeram state seat.Related stories:
