In a statement today, the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Youth Wing chief named nine leaders from the Pakatan Harapan component parties and accused them of ignoring the pact’s consensus, which was to let Dr Mahathir lead the government before PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim takes over the government.
“They had been questioning Dr Mahathir’s position and going back on the PH consensus since last year. “How can Dr Mahathir administer this country if he is being urged, pressured and attacked by those who are known as Anwar’s allies?” he said. In light of the ongoing tussle in PKR, the Muar Member of Parliament also reminded his allies to first resolve internal issues within their own party instead of making efforts to push Dr Mahathir out of Putrajaya.
