Suspend Lynas’ licence until radioactive waste safely discarded, Wong Tack tells Putrajaya

“Based on the conditions set on the renewal of Lynas’ licence by the Atomic Energy Licensing Board yesterday, it is now obvious that AELB has kept a blind eye to Lynas’ incompliance with regulations and licensing conditions all these years,” Wong said in a statement. “The Atomic Energy Licensing Regulations 2011, Regulation 21 states that radioactive wastes must not be stored in an area prone to natural disasters,” he said.
