The 37-year-old man was going through his Facebook page on May 25 when he noticed a Toyota Vellfire being offered for sale at RM33,000.“The man was asked to make various types of payments which include deposits, delivery charges, Customs tax, and road tax.
“All in all, the man paid a total of RM210,850 through 21 transactions to 11 bank accounts from May 30 to July 2,” he said in a statement on Thursday . DSP Muhamad said the man realised that he had been duped on Wednesday when he was asked to make more payments and the vehicle was still not delivered to him.
