IPOH : Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Shah graced the state-level Nuzul Al-Quran 2021 celebration at the Sultan Idris Shah II Mosque here Wednesday .
Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and Raja Di Hilir Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris Shah were also in attendance. Also present were State Secretary Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council president Datuk Seri Mohd Annuar Zaini and Perak Islamic Religious Department director Datuk Yusop Husin, as well as state executive councillors.
The celebration began with a Quran recital, tahlil and doa selamat, followed by the breaking of fast. Sultan Nazrin also presented Aidilfitri aid and tithes from totalling RM7.8mil to heads of districts in Perak to be distributed to 31,296 recipients. - Bernama
