PETALING JAYA: Sultan Johor menolak cadangan mengadakan bazar Ramadan pandu lalu, ketika seluruh negara menunggu keputusan semua kerajaan negeri semasa perintah kawalan pergerakan berkuatkuasa bagi memutuskan rantaian jangkitan Covid-19.Sultan Ibrahim menegaskan ia tidak sesuai dilaksanakan susulan penularan wabak koronavirus itu, mengingatkan kerajaannya ketika ini pasukan barisan depan bertungkus lumus membasmi sepenuhnya wabak itu.

“Saya bimbang jika dilaksanakan bazar Ramadan secara pandu lalu, akan timbul isu kesesakan jalan raya pula hingga membebankan lagi tugas pasukan penguatkuasa. “Malah, amat sukar untuk menjamin tiada kemungkinan berlaku risiko kontak rapat dan jika timbul kluster baharu, bagaimana kita hendak mengawal virus ini,” katanya dalam kenyataan di Facebook hari ini.

Kenyataan ini menyusuli pertemuannya dengan Menteri Besar Hasni Mohamad dan Setiausaha Kerajaan Johor, Azmi Rohani di Istana Pasir Pelangi, Johor Bahru.
