KUALA LUMPUR: The full report on a policy study on recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate will be completed in July, after which it will be tabled to the Cabinet.
“Any proposal made to the government must be studied comprehensively, taking into consideration the views of parties from various fields, and cannot be made in a hurry,” he said in a press conference to introduce the UEC policy team here today. Maszlee said so far, the team had conducted 14 interview sessions involving 34 slots with personalities and organisations, with the information-gathering process was still ongoing.

No need 4 formal 'Recognition' since STPM is Msia's formally recognised pre-U exam. Govt shud jz recognise UEC s equivalent 2 STPM, hence can b used 2 enter public U & civil service.
