NIBONG TEBAL: Strong winds ripped off the roofs of 19 houses in Taman Desa Jawi here but there was no report of any casualty in the 2pm incident on Thursday.

“Upon checking, I saw the roofs of my house and several others being blown away.

“I quickly ran out of the house. Luckily, my three children were not at home, ” said the 64-year-old.“I heard a loud sound and saw some parts of the roof missing. “I quickly dashed out of the house for safety. Luckily, there was no rain or the damage would be worse, ” she said. — Bernama
