Hong Kong media reported that Chow has interest in creating a 'CJ7' sequel in which he plans to have Xu Jiao play the role of a mother.

In a Weibo post on Tuesday , Xu Jiao, 26, revealed that she will be returning to Chow’s company, Star Overseas.CJ7“In the blink of an eye, I’m back!” she captioned her post. Xu Jiao was previously signed to Chow’s agency but took a step back from the spotlight in 2013 to study in the US – where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts in California.
