I don't care. This will be worth it. What's NOT worth the $70 price point is the Dead Space remaster and new games with 25 to 30 hour campaigns like the Callisto Protocol. Great games don't get me wrong, but I guarantee I'll play Starfield for a thousand hours.
Probably because people know how buggy their games are at release. Smaller part of the fanbase will go buy it at release. The rest will wait for bug fixes, dlcs, reduced price and mods.
So Xbox made Sony look like the bad guy by increasing their rates first, but as soon as they have first party titles come out they hike their prices too 🤔

I could live with the $70, but it won't be $70. It will be $70 for the first half of the game, then another $50 for the 'expansions' or a 'season pass' that's really just gated sections of the main game, not extra content of any kind.
