PUTRAJAYA: The Star Media Group journalist Sandhya Menon has won the Best Media Award (for print) 2019 from the Social Security Organisation (Socso) in conjunction with Labour Day.

Looking on is Kulasegaran .The Star Media Group journalist Sandhya Menon has won the Best Media Award 2019 from the Social Security Organisation in conjunction with Labour Day.

She was selected for her coverage and reports on issues relating to Technical and Vocational Education Training .“So, when Socso called, it took five minutes for me to digest the news,” said Sandhya.“A supportive and positive work environment brings out the best in people,” she said. In his speech, Dr Mahathir said the theme for the celebration this year was to emphasise to all Malaysians, especially workers, to carry out their job responsibly with trust and integrity to develop the country.
