Sporadic Covid-19 cases rising in Sabah

Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Masidi Manjun says sporadic Covid-19 cases in Sabah are rising and this could be due to non-compliance of standard operating procedures when interacting or in public. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, October 16, 2021.

SPORADIC Covid-19 cases in Sabah are rising, accounting for almost 39% of the total 639 infections recorded today, Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Masidi Manjun said. The state Covid-19 spokesman said there are concerns that the risk of sporadic infections will rise as the state transitions to phase three of the national recovery plan on Monday, allowing more social and economic activities to resume.
