JOHOR BARU: Johor recorded 4.48 in its state average grade achievement for the 2023 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examinations, the best within the last five years.
State Education Department director Mohd Hanafi Samad said Johor's achievement was higher than the national GPN, which stands at 4.60. “Based on the analysis of SPM results from 2019 to 2022, this achievement is the best in five years. "Johor's GPN has been able to beat the national GPN five years in a row,” he told a press conference to announce the examination results at the department's headquarters here on Monday .
