KUALA LUMPUR: Speaker Dewan Rakyat, Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof tidak akan mempengerusikan perbahasan merujuk Menteri Kewangan Lim Guan Eng ke Jawatankuasa Hak dan Kebebasan atas dakwaan mengelirukan Dewan Rakyat, selepas Jawatankuasa Kira-kira Wang Negara tidak melaporkan kutipan GST dirompak kerajaan dulu.
Semalam, Dewan Rakyat bertelingkah selepas Ariff memutuskan Lim tidak akan dirujuk ke jawatankuasa itu, kerana “tiada unsur prima facie” bahawa menteri mengelirukan Dewan. Pertelingkahan mengenai penggunaan istilah “rompak” oleh Lim, yang pada Ogos mendakwa kutipan GST “dirompak” kerajaan dulu, timbul selepas PAC mengesahkan tiada kehilangan wang.
