KUALA LUMPUR: Speaker Dewan Rakyat, Ariff Yusof menolak usul Ketua Pembangkang, Ismail Sabri meminta keputusan tidak merujuk Menteri Kewangan Lim Guan Eng ke Jawatankuasa Hak dan Kebebasan disemak.
Ariff berkata dia terpaksa menolak 2 usul itu kerana sudah terlewat mengikut peraturan mesyuarat Dewan Rakyat. Hari ini merupakan hari terakhir mesyuarat ke-2 penggal ke-2 Dewan Rakyat. Persidangan seterusnya akan diadakan pada Oktober. Semalam, Dewan Rakyat bertelingkah selepas Ariff memutuskan Lim tidak akan dirujuk ke Jawatankuasa Hak dan Kebebasan kerana “tiada unsur prima facie” bahawa menteri itu mengelirukan Dewan.
